Bongiorno Italian Restaurant is located in the heart of Crestline Village, and features Birmingham's best Italian fare. 

Dining at Bongiorno is a close second to a trip to Italy - with choices such as spaghetti, ziti, calzone, lasagna, chicken Parmigiana, tortellini, linguine and shrimp marinara. Italian entrees, plus scampi, and grouper, are among diners' top choices. 

Bongiorno’s dinner service begins Monday through Saturday at 5 p.m., with closing at 9 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday through Saturday, closing at 10 p.m.

Founded in 1988 by Guiseppe "Joe" Magnolia who came to Birmingham from New York after successfully operating Joe's Restaurant and Pizza. Magnolia brought his classic favorites and added several seasonal specialties to Bongiorno on Church Street.

Still family run, son Pietro and daughters Abigail, Monia and Maria all play a role in the daily success of Bongiorno. Sons-in-law Agustin and Oswaldo are also actively involved.
